About Team UT Austin

Leaders in Multiple Sclerosis Research & Care through the MS Imaging and Outcomes Research Laboratory

The MS Imaging and Outcomes Research Laboratory is directed by Dr. Leorah Freeman and focuses on developing a better understanding of the factors impacting the journey of people with MS, assessing trends in MS care, and creating models to predict long-term outcomes. The MS.io research lab aims to develop the evidence needed to drive quality improvement in MS and Neuroimmunology in order to both decrease health disparities in access and outcomes and increase the value of care received by patients. To accomplish this goal, the MS.io research lab utilizes a variety of data types and methodological approaches, including health services and economics methodologies, neuroimaging, and community-based participatory research.
